Ceramic Lamp Workshop

Service Description

In this two part workshop students will transform their ceramic pieces into table lamps. In the first session we will focus on trimming our leather hard pieces to be able to be wired later. Between classes your pieces will be glazed and fired for our second session. During this session we will wire and test out our lamps. We will meet twice for 2 hours each session. Class includes firing (bisque and glaze), wiring kit, and additional tools to transform your pieces. Class description and what to bring : Day 1: 2 hours Have a cylinder at least 5-6 in. tall leather hard and ready to trim. CLAY MUST BE CONE 5-6 TEMPERATURE. Have trimming tools ready We will trim pieces ( top and side holes) to fit lamp parts Day 2. 2 hours Have piece from previous class glaze fired. This day I will demonstrate how to wire your lamp. You will then put your lamp together and test it.
